Microwave Popcorn

  • I bought 94% fat free microwave popcorn and got home and saw that it was "kettle corn". It's 5 calories more per serving than the regular popcorn. Is this still a core food?
  • From what I understand, it is Core.
  • According to the CFC it is not core. I know that there has been some discussion on this on the boards. I'm not sure why its not Core, but that's what the CFC says. But I would go ahead and eat it, since you've bought it, as long as you don't feel like you will "pig-out" on it.
  • Thanks, all. I probably only eat 1/3 of the bag anyway or share w/ the rest of the office. It's made w/ sucralose (like Splenda) and it was a little too "sweet" for my taste.
  • I believe it started out Core, but then b/c of its potential for "abuse," it was taken off the Core list.
  • You are right - people were eating bags of it everyday and then complaining about not losing over on the WW site.
