Ruth, just reading about your day making me tired!

I envy your time in the greenhouse, though...I would love to be gardening today!

Have fun!
Bamie, your poor knee! I hope things get better soon so you can have a good night's sleep.

Good luck on being a big loser in P1!!!
Aileen, you are cracking me up with that smilie! I know the feeling about work.

The Sarah girl is from our area...she's in all our papers.

I don't watch the show so I don't know anything about it.
BB, I love old movies too! I watch the Bells of St. Mary's on TCM the other day. I love that movie!

Check out Buyer Beware for info on Cortisol. My mom has been on it (though I've tried to get her to stop wasting her money) for at least a year now and it's done nothing.
Sassy, from your avatar, seems like Princess is growing up! What a cutie!

Wow...lots of tv planning! Most of my shows have dropped off the radar all of a sudden...but I just watch my taped shows, so I'm not sure if they talked about it being the end in between other shows.

Desperate Housewives was funny last night...DH and I both enjoy it.
Phins, thanks for reminding me that the month is only half over...I still have a ways to go on my May goal. I'm thrilled for you, though!!!

I know it must be hard with your littl girl growing up, but just think of the wonderful adult relationship you'll be able to have now. And eventually, she may have a bunch of kiddos for you to enjoy all over again.
Christy, have a great day! The curtains sound like a great project! I love sewing!
Amy, I have to go mine the weekend daily to see what happened at your party!

It's cold here too. Oy...I'm ready for spring!

What's going on what this leekfest???
Ellis, I hope it's a great meeting!
Me:
Well, back to 214 again.

I did make that splenda apple pie on Saturday and it was delicious, but DH and I finished in by last night!

I definitely have some work to do on controling my eating.

The good thing was that I didn't have a second dessert on top of it even though I still hadn't eaten my nuts for the day. So I
am making progress.
I forwarded an e-mail from a non-denominational Christian organization about saving the filibuster to a couple of ladies on the prayer chain at work. Oy...I started a huge fire.

Everyone's very upset with me, and I didn't have any intention to start a fight! It just never occurred to me that anyone I knew would feel differently than I did about this. Guess my mom was right...don't discuss politics with others!
Had a lovely weekend of gardening and things are starting to shape up. I was so excited because I was able to get a Hellebore for only $5.73...everywhere I've seen them, they've been $10 or more!
Because class was cancelled last Thursday, I didn't have any homework all weekend, but I'm going to be paying for it this weekend.

I'm hoping the work isn't too hard.
Have a great day, chicks!
