Saturday menu - 5/14/05

  • b: little bit of roasted chicken with BBQ sauce
    sn: honeydew melon
    l: salad with lettuce, shrimp, strawberries and balsamic vinaigrette
    d: ??? Might have leftover roast beef and a baked potato -- not sure what I'm making for the others
  • b: malt o meal, banana, milk
    s: banana
    l: LO lemon chicken made into chicken salad, apple, milk
    s: graham cracker
    d: family is having cheddar bratwurst (mmm!). I may indulge in 1/2 a brat if I'm good the rest of the day, hash browns, milk

  • okay. i'm back on core. i'll be posting my meals as i eat them. i can tell you i have a pot of pinto beans on the stove cooking now. life is good.

    b--mini shredded wheat, 1/2 banana, ff milk, splenda
    l--veggie soup (no potatoes)/grilled polenta cakes
    s--sf/ff pudding made with ff milk and banana and 8 vanilla waters (2 pts)
    d--grilled boneless porkchop, pinto beans, sliced tomato, 1/2 baked potato/ff sour cream, and 3 pan grilled polenta cakes
    s--popcorn/diet coke
  • Breakfast: One serving oatmeal made with skim and 1 medium banana cooked in

    Lunch: Sirloin burger broiled on bun (points), with FF american cheese slice, raw onion and ketchup. 2 cups fresh fruit salad (pineapple, strawberries, cantaloupe, honeydew)

    Snack: Chocolate cherry smoothie

    Dinner: Salad with FF honey dijon, One 5 oz pork chop broiled, baked potato with FF sour cream, steamed broccoli and cauliflower

    Probably no dessert.
  • Oh dearie dear -- DH just told me we're going to Fort Worth to his parents' house. It's his BD next week so I'm guessing they want to take him to dinner. I know it's gonna mess me up.
