  • Okay. I have HAD it with being fat! HAD IT, I tell you!

Tomorrow is payday, and I'm heading out first thing to stock up on groceries.

    Anyone with me?

just heading out to get a bag of Doritos... the Last Supper, don't you know...
  • You go, girl!!!

I know you can do anything you put your mind too, hon. You have gotten over much harder hurdles.

I'm totally with you on the last supper...I did it for two weeks straight! Honestly, though, it helped a lot...I had nothing left to crave, as I ate everything I could think of wanting for those 2 weeks. The way that made me feel along with the way I felt during Phase 1 really helped cure any residual cravings. I wouldn't recommend it for everyone, but it definitely worked for me.
  • Thanks, Laurie. I think I'm on my own here, which is fine.
Boy, I've really been chowing down today. I won't tell you what I've been eating, because I don't want to set anyone off. I'll just say that I'm not finished yet. Come tomorrow morning, I'm going to be so sick of carbs, I'm never going to want to see another. Well, hopefully not for two weeks, anyhow.
DH is starting with me again, which will help a lot.
  • just started p1...again
Hello, I just restarted phase 1 for a second time. I lost 5 lbs the first time and then went on vacation, only to totally blow the whole diet. I really need to loose the weight because I'm being worked up for PCOS and excess wt. does not help matters, plus I want to look and feel more healthy. Anyone have any great tips, advice or success to share with me?
    Thanks
  • I'm so with you, Ellis!

I've started my 2 weeks of super strict Phase I today, but major grocery shopping tomorrow!

I had my last supper last night, (McDonalds and Ice Cream) - enjoy your doritos and have some for me!

And Laurie, thanks for the idea of walk away the pounds. I'm not following that directly, but I'm making a plan of doing at least 20 minutes a day of walking - upping it 10 minutes every week until my schedule calms down!
  • Starting Tomorrow
    Hello,

I would like to join! I am going to start the SBD PhaseI tomorrow. I have been doing research, and am now prepared to go for it!!

Off to the store this evening with my list of food that I will be cooking for the next 2 weeks!

    Tami
  • Great, Firefly!
    It's good to have company!

Tami, you, too!! Welcome to the Beach!
I spent today going through recipes and making lists, so I'm ready, too!

I'm just going to have a wee bowl of perogies before I turn in.

Here's to a great day tomorrow, girls!
  • Oh ellis, I wish I could start with you!! My body is SO ill these days that I'm really just trying to focus on eating mainly fruits and veggies.. but as soon as my body heals.. I'm totally there! Make sure you get enough water

    -Aimee
  • Oh, Aimee... I'm sorry you're still not well, sweetie. Just do the best you can, and take good care of yourself. I'll be here for you when you're ready.
  • I'm with you! I've really been struggling to get back op and stay there... people keep bringing yummies into work and i discover them in the breakroom when i'm at my low points during the day (like yesterday - someone brought in bbq.... oh lawdy dawg! granted, they were small, but 3 sandwiches later.....sigh)
  • Great, Aileen! I'm so glad you're here!

I'm having my first coffee, and wondering what to have for breakfast. I have my lists, but I have to shop later this morning... I think there's one egg left in the fridge...
  • Make sure you prepare. Print out the updated food lists. Get rid of the foods in your house that are off plan. If they are okay for phase 2, then hide them until you get there. Good luck.
  • Ellis,
I'm with you. I did have my coffee with a little sugar on the way to physical therapy. On the way home I stopped and bought xylitol. Now I'm set. Hopefully it will be easier as I'm on medical leave from work so no crap around to eat. DD's cookies are in a box I can't reach. That means she has to ask her dad.

    Lydia
  • Barb, thank you!

Hey, Lydia... welcome back, hon! I'm sorry... you haven't been well?

I've just eaten the last egg in the house, and now I'm sending DH out to a shop. Before I starve to death.

    What's everyone eating today?
  • Aimee, you take care of yourself, okay? That's the most important thing.
