Fun Friday Menu, April 22, 2005

  • Breakfast: Oatmeal made with skim and 1/2 cup homemade applesauce

    Lunch: Large salad out with mixed greens, tomatoes, red cabbage, avocado, egg, onion, and cucumbers.

    Snack: Chocolate banana smoothie

    Dinner: Mixed field greens salad, broiled salmon steak, ww angel hair with Smart Balance (points), fresh green beans

    Snack: SF/FF pudding

    l: big salad w/boiled egg sliced in, fruit, milk
    s: fruit
    d: the family is having pizza, I'll be having something else - maybe chicken salad made from leftover last night chicken

    L: Grilled chicken breast, sugar snap peas, hummus (core recipe), edamame
    S: Orange
    D: Asian sea bass, sesame noodles, garlic-roasted Brussels sprouts
  • not very exciting today, since i am still fairly queasy...
    b: pack of peanut butter crackers i got at the gas station on my way to work
    l: a cup of chicken noodle with some crackers
    d: i think that i am going to have some mcdonald's cheeseburgers

    ok, not an exemplary day but i am still feeling very sick, no energy, and nothing sounds good to me. although a good thing has come from this...i lost 2 pounds yesterday! not the ideal way to do it, i know, but hey, i'm trying to be positive.
  • Well it started out okay....

    Breakfast: South beach diet cereal, milk, coffee w/cream

    Snack: lf cottage cheese w/pineapple

    Lunch: tossed salad w/japanese dressing, 1 slice veggie pizza, green grapes

    ....and ended up not so good!

    baked pita chips w/salsa/avocado, diet pop
    1/4 c. chopped liver, 1/4 c. chopped grilled eggplant
    1/2 c. leftover kraft dinner
    1/2 kasha
    1 piece of hazelnut chocolate

    Now I am bloated and tired and cranky!!!

  • Good heavens, this is a weird day for us both, Frouf!

    B: McDonald's eggs and bacon, diet A&W root beer
    L: Chef's salad with 1000 Island
    D: Beer, beer and more beer. Did I mention beer? And don't stop bringing the beer. My mom has just whipped me into a big messy pile of I-don't-know-what ... that's why I hate going to visit. Someone please bring me a beer.

    I know the above is over my weekly points allowance. At this point, I don't care. My head hurts, we are under tornado warnings, dh isn't home (he should have been home 2 hours ago, but he finally called) and I just feel blah. I could have done a lot worse. I wouldn't fret too much about it, but tomorrow being my first weigh in, I'm just down in the dumps. It will be ok, and I will move along. No damage really done.
