Need help!

    I joned a challenge here a week or so ago and hve just been hopeless. I have always had a problem with my weight. Not that I had a weight problem. Someone told me once I was fat (which I know now I wasn't) and from then on have had a problem with my weight. Now I really do have a weight problem. I was about 91/2 stone for years had my first child went up to 12 stone then lost it after 4 months. I stayed within that vicinity until I had my second child then I went to 11 stone, then I quit smoking. I weighed 111/2 stone now I am 15 stone.

    If I had the motiviation to lose weight that I have in the mornings, throughout the entire day say after 3pm, I'd be fine. I am now an emotional eater. I also suffered from post natal with my second child and a friend got me to a Dr for medication (Oct last year) and since then I have gained 2 stone, cos I started feeling good so I started going out, drinking eating and eating and drinking.

    I feel hopeless and feel unable to break this cycle. I have only two outfits (black of course) that fit me. My wardrobe is full of size 10/12 clothing.

    Can someone give me some words or a swift kick up the @rse to get me out of this rut?

  • well first things first, dear. Do not give up before you start! Just like anything worth acomplishing it takes time and dedication. We do not gain the weight overnight and we can not loose it that quickly either. So here on this site you will find lots of different diets. Pick one that sounds good for you, find an exercise you will like and get to it. I hate dieting and exercise but I force myself and everyday I feel better about doing it. And in a Month or two of being strict you will have no choice but to go clothes shopping or better yet....reach into the closet and wear something you haven't wore in ages!!!! keep your head up ...
