Hi, I'm new here...still haven't figured the site out and how it works, but I thought I'd start by seeing if there are any other pcos or insulin resistant dieters out there. I'm wondering what has worked for you as far as weight loss. I've tried low carb, low calorie, & a few fad diets. Had some success, but not enough. Any input would be great! Tricia
Hello and Welcome!! Good Luck with your weight loss! AS far as a low fat diet yes it works great!! My mother lost over 70 pds doing that!! I am now doing it and have lost 9 lbs in 13 days!! Good Luck!!
I have type II diabetes. When I lost 80 pounds about six years ago I was able to stop taking medication. My blood sugar stayed in the normal range. After gaining the weight back in a couple of years it has raised my blood sugar back up. I think the best thing for me was counting my calories and walking. I also used some free weights (only like 5lb weights though). Good luck!!!!
