  • Good Job on the not smoking
Hi my name is Jessie. How are you doing with the not smoking-- I see you are a mom of twins. I am a stay at home mom and it is a big stress reliever for me, so it hasn't worked out. I'll go sneek out in the garage during a movie for a minute or two. i don't smoke that much but I tried to quit a couple weeks ago and just felt like a raging lunatic!!! Any tips would be appreciated..

    Thanks
  • Hello Jessie,
I am also a SAHM and I know what you mean about stress relief, my twins are in the terrible two's push mom's buttons all day LOL
Quitting is not easy, I have made many many attempts to quit. And I am still fighting the cravings.. I have given in a few times but it's getting a little easier.
I have noticed that if I have a strong craving and I suck on a piece of mint candy, it really helps me get past that craving. I keep trying to find things to keep me busy, and taking deep breaths with each craving. It is amazing how short lived the cravings are, but how close together they are too. I guess it's like any other addiction one day at a time??
