Well, managed to stay OP yesterday. YEAH!! The nice thing about this cold/sinus thing is...it unstuffs in time for me to sleep. Bad thing is....then it RUNS (EWWWW). So I sleep with a kleenex under my nose. I know....TMI It's still not better. ARGH!! So far I don't feel bad today. But I'm sure I'll start to wear down later. Got to get stuff ready for a GS meeting on Wednesday. Good thing I'm not the one that does the main meeting. I just sit in the background and help

Brenda, Congrats for staying OP!

Nothing's going on here, but it's been steady, non stop wind and rain for days now. I suppose I should look across the street and check the creek, but right now, I feel let it rise, so what. LOL We are warm, high and dry and have a few bottles of propane, candles and food. What else do we need? DH got soaked on Easter. He ran to the store for me, and on the way back, a big tree had fallen across the road. There was a lady who needed to get home to her daughter who had just become ill and was a bit panicked over the tree. So instead of waiting for someone with a chainsaw to come along, he had a strap, and pulled it off the raod with the SUV. She tried to pay him. He wouldn't hear of that.
I cooked chicken last night, so that should help me stay OP today.

Dang...I'm all snuffy again Hopefully it eases up so I can sleep tonight. This is NASTY!!! Didn't get a lick of stuff done today. And tomorrow it's GS meeting day and I didn't get THAT done either
