You Mean It Actually Works?

  • I just have to say that I continue to stay so encouraged by coming to this board. I have been on several message boards, including 3FC's boards for WW and other diet plans, and have never really seen people reach their goals and talking about really healthy stuff.

When I did WW, all I ever noticed is trying to get around point values and eating anything just to stay in those points. You can eat anything, but not necessarily healthy stuff.

I felt just as listless and unhealthy as when I was eating regularly when on WW. Of course, I would eat a happy meal about 3 days a week, cause you could. I ate very few veggies and thought I was being healthy cause I was drinking like 50 gallons of water a day.

I just find it so encouraging that we all really care about what we put in our bodies, as opposed to just trying to lose weight and eat whatever we want. I am not having any trouble sticking to this and I have found that I crave healthy meats, nuts, veggies and cheeses and not the nasty, dangerous sugary carbs.

    Yeah, it actually works!
  • Yes it really does! I know what ya mean about craving healthy. Some days I just can't seem to get enough veggies! I won't talk about the days I can't seem to get enough junk! lol Although there are not many because the next day you feel so blaaaa! I'm glad you have found your nitch!
  • so u guys mean u dont eat any carbs at all whatsoever or how is ur diet exactly and does it really work let me know plz
  • We eat only good carbs. Please check out the FAQ section. If you decide to use this plan, you must buy the book to understand it.
  • Regeton,
Basically you don't eat "BAD" carbs, like white potatoes, white bread, white rice, semolina pasta. You eat "GOOD" carbs like sweat potatoes, multi-grain bread, brown rice or wild rice, and whole wheat pasta. This is just an example, however, and You really must get the book to understand the complete concept.

Once you read the book, it will make so much sense. I have struggled my whole life with weight and I can honestly say that I have tried every way of eating. This plan allows you to live without real sacrifice. You feel full and you can eat out and not feel deprived.

You feel better and the weight comes off pretty steady.
  • I echo Ruth and Sunny, regeton, you really need to read the book to understand the plan. Only about half of the book is text to read, the other half is menus, recipes, and lists of foods to enjoy and avoid, so it's a pretty fast read.

I agree, Sunny, this WOE makes me feel so good about myself! I know that I'm eating healthy and I'm thrilled and amazed at my desire to eat vegetables! It's amazing to me, and I know it's truly something I can do for life. Today is my 11 month anniversary, and my desire to stay OP has not waned.
