Today was the TOPS workshop....

  • Hello Everyone,
I've missed you guys! It just seemed like life got crazy and I couldn't get here to post..but I have been reading. Thursday I was out of the office all day at a computer class, and then on Friday I was trying to catch everything back up.

Well, I had a gain at the scales on Thursday. It's hard to not get discourged when that happens, especially when I feel I worked my plan. But you know what...I'm still working my plan and those goals I set at the beginning of the month, and I'm not giving up. That loss will show up next week!

I don't remember who spoke about stickers, but I'm going to get me some! Thanks for the idea.

I went to the TOPS workshop today and it's the best thing I could have done for myself. It was very inspiring and I'm excited about my role in the chapter. I think my chapter will be very inspired after going and that will spur us all on towards getting back on track and getting this weight off.

At the workshop I signed up to be a part of a TOPS walk that our Area Captian is planning for a rally in October. I'm excited about that. I got to thinking that if I stay on plan and loose 4-5 lbs a month I'll almost be at goal by then..that would be so awesome!

Sherri: Thanks for the encourgment and the checking in on me. Please continue to do so. You are a great help to me with that!

Does anyone else need help with individual encourgment? Just say the word...this is a great place for help..but you have to ask.

  • WAy to go Susie for not giving up on your plan. We just seem to have days that aren't so good on the scale, but who knows, you may have lost inches instead of weight. Just try to keep focused

May I ask what a TOPS workshop is...I've never heard of it.
  • The TOPS workshop I went to was a good overall view of how meetings are to be conducted, how certain forms have to be kept out. Also discussed where contest ideas, networking with other chapters to learn about some of the things they have done, program ideas. Just things like that. It was interesting.
