For those who are interested in chatting, please indicate your "availability" as in time (I presume in the evening?), day(s) of the week and time zone.

I would love to chat around 9 or 9:30 pm probably wed or thurs or sunday evenings. (mondays and tuesday nights usually busy for me). This would be eastern standard time.....

Sorry I just now saw this. I was out chasing Bindy, the meatloaf-eating wonder dog who escaped when my DD opened the door for the pizza delivery man.

Alrighty, I'm in central time zone, and anytime is good for me. I have no other life except for American Idol on Tuesday and Wednesday nights, and Extreme Home Makeover and Desperate Housewives on Sunday nights.

I'm good on M, W, F most nights. Saturdays I've usually got time in the late afternoon/early evening.

We have DVR, so as long as no one promises to give away TV show stuff, I'm in even during 24, AI, and Desperate Housewives.

I'm available most any evening after 8:30 pm CST. I may not always make it, but it'll be fun to chat when I can.

Okay - so what's the diff between est and cst? Are we like an hour apart or more? who's on first? What came first the chicken or the egg?

Here's what I found out about creating our own "subroom":
Some systems may automatically place you in your own unique subroom. The subroom will have the same name as your username. Often times this is used for technical-support solutions.

To create a new subroom, type /create [subroom_name]. Subroom names are subject to the same limitations as usernames. They should be between 2 and 32 characters in length, and may not contain spaces. You will automatically be placed in a subroom that you create. If you wish to password protect the subroom you have created, type /create [subroom_name] [subroom_password]. All users wishing to join your subroom will be required to enter the password you have chosen. Passwords are subject to the same limitations as subroom names.

To leave a subroom, type /leave or select a different subroom from the subroom pulldown menu. You will then be brought back to the main chat room. If the subroom you leave is empty, it may be removed from the subroom list.

To join an existing subroom, type /join [subroom_name]. If the subroom is password protected, you will need to supply the password (not neccesary for system operators) by typing: /join [subroom_name] [subroom_password].

Some chat rooms indicate users that are in the current subroom by listing them first (below administrators) or by indicating users in another subroom by displaying their name with a different color in the user list. To determine where another user is (what subroom he/she is in) simply double click on that users name in the user list, or type /whereis [username]. I'm on Central time too ... we're one hour behind you, Froufie. Tuesday and Wednesday and the weekends would be the days that work best for me.

The only bad day for me is Thursdays because of WW. I'm in the Central time zone. I'm pretty much always available. It's that retirement thing you know! That, and the fact that we have DVR and watch practically nothing live! I have no idea what night or time my favorite shows are on. This is a holdover from my working days when we had to tape everthing because we had to go to bed at 9:30.

i'm in too, most nights except thursday w.i. and er and fri/sat till hockey season is over! i am central time (waiting on daylight savings in a month or so!!)

Okay - making an EXECUTIVE DECISION - how about we try for Wednesday nights? Seems this might work for everyone (I think some are watching American Idol?? -what time does it end?). We could try for 9:30 pm (does that mean 8:30 pm for me??? - I'm so confused).

Anyone want to try and set up a special WWCORE room? (we might need a password so would need to quickly send this out tonight or tomorrow?)

Wednesdays are great for me! I think Am-I usually runs from 7-8 central, which umm ... okay, right now it's 2:25 p.m. here. What time is it there?

I hate to revolve my life around a TV show ... but tonight it's from 8 til 9! I can still chat though. It's still early enough in the season where I'm not glued to the TV taking notes.
