Well good morning ladies. I thought i would get with this morning's paper and check in with you all and see how you are doing. I've been up since 4:00 a.m. Not much going on except a lot. I have a special aunt that is in the hopsital with congestive heart failure, and has to have bypass surgery. Please keep her in your prayers. So much stuff around me is happening already this year it's unbeliveable. Not all directly to me, but people i know. I went back to tops after being off since we bought the house and the Holiday's. Things are going well, although with the fibroid, my weight isn't dropping, but i'm not gaining either. Seems like every Monday i'm bloated. I'm still ahead of the programs, and I'm thinking of doing the book, "Thin for Life" by Anne Fletcher. I figure with the time off from work, I can really work on some stuff. I'm just going to be reading and relaxing for the first 2 weeks. Maybe learn some more of my computer with the time off. Not sure how finaces are going to go, Since I will be less about 400 a month. Not good. Although it looks like we won't be doing any camping again, cuz hubby is taking 2.5 weeks off for me. All of his vacation time. I won't be able to do any lifting for at least 2 weeks, and with Garret weighing over 16 pounds, I'm gonna need help. Garret is almost too big for his carseat (infant) already. Probably should be looking into another couple of them. I think the ones we have are still too big for him. I'm sure of it. Brandon has lost one tooth, and another one on it's way. The replacement teeth are coming in before the others are out. He pulled out his first one himself. We tied some thread around it and he gave it a good jerk. It came flying out.
Thanks for all the prayers, and I will keep you all informed. I go back next Thursday with my information. Basically to set up the surgery, cuz I don't have the 2 months to wait to get this thing out. So we will see. Pray that work will hold my current job for me. Haven't enjoyed a job like this one there for over 6 years, and I really don't want to go on another shift, cuz my supervisior won't work with me and the time off. PRAYERS.

Ladies I hope you all are doing fine, and you are doing your best for your weight loss efforts. Changing habits, and focusing, cuz together we can do it. But most important each and every one of us is worth be "THIN FOR LIFE". Hang in there, and God bless you all. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

It was very hard for me when I quit working... And I made ruffly $300/ week after taxes. My mil was watching the kids 3x/week and the daycare for two kids for two days was $70. So I juggled ALOT and didn't realize how much we were carelessly spending and somehow it all worked out. Thank Goodness!

But...... are you going to quit working or are you just taking off for the surgery? Garrett sure is getting big! WOW! Already!

I am doing just fine... still at the gym working this big ole butt off The weight is coming off slowly but I am just fine with it... I just try to stay off the scale and concentrate on healthy living...

Hi Wendy, Since I am the unofficial motherhen around here I had to talk to you. I have just finished a rough year and things are still working themself out. And sweetie ,things will work out. You may have some rough days but things will work out for the best. Once surgery is over and you recoup you will be amazed at how much better you feel. So it will be easier to take care of the baby,your house,yourself and everything you have to do.
As for money it is also amazing how well we can make it with less money.We all waste money without realizing it. Most bill collectors will work with you if you let them know you are having a few rough weeks. And if friends offer to help in anyway don't let pride say no.Real friends will only want to help you.
As for your job.I know you will be disappointed if you were to lose it but I don't think legally that your boss can fire you just because you are sick. In fact I know he can't .There is a federal law that protects your job for several weeks.
So you just make getting better your first priority.
Oh Congestive heart failure is serious but I have it and I am here and plan on being here for a long time.It can be controlled.
So "try" not to worry too much. I will be thinking about you and I know things will work out ok

I will keep both you and your aunt in my prayers. Just think about getting better and not the $400.00 less per month while you recover. If you have a stocked pantry, now is the time to utilize it and make less trips to the market. Also for reading, DVD's... now is also the time to use the library. If you have debt, you may have to just pay the minimum payments until you are back working again. I'll pray that your job is held for you too. It will all work out.
