New and looking for buddy!!!

  • Well, I am new here. I have been lurking here for a couple months and am ready to get started. However, I have no motivation. I am 27, 5'8 and weigh in at 185 lbs. I haven't always been overweight so I know what it feels like to be thin...I mean 125 lbs., which is thin at this height. People actually thought I was anorexic then. Anyways, long story short, marriage for almost 3 yrs, depression, decreased activity, and change in work have added on the pounds. I am looking for someone with about the same amount to lose...I am shooting for 35 to get down to 150...which is ideal for me and 10 less than what I was when I married.

    I hope to hear from someone. I do not have a plan yet...but several options and ideas. Get in touch w/ me and lets get started.
  • I am 29. I weighed about 230 three and a half years ago. I lost weight because of a gallbladder issue and once that was removed, remained on low fat. I got down to 145 and looked great. I got pregnant....and went back up to 230. I took off about 35 pounds...and am in a stall. I am doing a low fat plan with exercise. I tried atkins, south beach, the zone and failed. I too would like a buddy.
  • Well, I think we need to team up, it could definitely do us both some good to have some support and motivation. Tell me a little about yourself. I don't know that I will be starting before the 1st due to traveling this weekend and next week for the holidays. However, I will be in force and ready to go after that? What do you plan to do to start?
