Hello Im new!!!!

  • I'm new to the site. I joined ww 8 weeks ago and I have lost 26 lbs. I feel so much better. I found this web site and logged on a couple weeks ago. I was locked out from my workplace and just got back on today.
I will tell something about myself to you. I am 38 yrs. old, married 20 yrs. and I have two children (Boys ages 15&11). I live in the U.S. in Kentucky.
I joined ww to feel better and to look better. I know I like feeling this way so I will continue to work hard.
If anyone would like to become e-mail buddies my address is [email protected].
Hope to hear from someone soon.
  • Howdy Ruty!
Welcome aboard and all the best with your journey on the way to good health!

We're all friendlies here and RubyEllen lives in Kentucky, too. (haven't seen a whole lot of her lately, though )

You can jump right in on the established thread or start your own. Come on in!
  • Hey Ruth, come on and see what makes us all keep coming back here. (Inspiration, recipes, comaraderie, good ideas, and support.)

I am 40, married 21 years, with a 14 yo and an 18 yo. As you already know, that can be a challenge in itself!!

Don't be shy. Post when you can. Love to "hear" from you.

  • Ruth~
Way to go girl ! It is work but I will never forget a phrase that a lady said when I joined. "Nothing taste as good as being thin feels !"
I've tried to loose weight many times, but I am ready to make the goal this time. I am over 200 lbs and want so bad before summer is over to be near or below that figure. That will be the first time in a long long time !!!!

    Hang in there.
    Good luck.

  • Jet, I heard a variation of that saying that works much better for me : Nothing tastes as good as losing weight feels.

It's been over 20 years since I've been thin so I DO NOT remember what that feels like. However, I know how excited and happy I am when I step on that WW scale and have dropped, so that's my motivation.
