Hi all - new here and looking for people to share thoughts and support with. I'm in the UK and am 27 years old. I've always struggled with weight issues and sometimes depression and am finally making some changes - ooooo, but it's hard! All friendly types most welcome.

Hi Uk Smurf...have you found a buddy? If not let us know. Maybe you want someone with similar problems, but not necessarily from UK. I live in the US Virgin Islands, have been a member at 3FatChx for a month. I made two buddies; however, like you, I suffered from chronic depression for 16 years, and am overweight. It is hard to lose because I am older than you and the metabolism is slow-slow.

Please let me know how you are doing, if you found a buddy, still looking and if I can be your friend in this struggle to lose weight. Nice to meet you, Cathy
