Hi all!
I make "oatmeal" from flax seed meal every morning - the flax seed meal has 4g carbs and 4g fiber. Since there are 0 net carbs and the calories are low, can I have this whenever I want - breakfast, snacks, etc.?
BTW, I follow the plan carefully and have no allergies.
i'd say yes looking at it. also bear in mind flax seed oil contains high amounts of essential fatty acids and is recommended for weightloss as it help metabolise stored fat. and flax oil is lovely tastes like nuts
Where would you get flax seed meal?...I dont think I ve ever seen in our grocery....
Marie, our regular grocery store has it in the "organic" section. Try some specialty shops in the area. OR you could ask your local grocer to order some for you.
Becky, how do you make your oatmeal? is it filling ? I'm always looking for foods that are filling and generous in portions. Thats the problem w/me and wl. I never feel full unless I'm to the point of Stuffed which is no good b/c then I've eaten way to many caloires. I try to bulk up w/veggies but for breakfast I really don't want green beans lol.
