Happy Saturday morning!
It has finally stopped raining. It rained so much and so hard yesterday and way into the night! Of course it was the one day I had to walk across campus to a very very boring working luncheon, listening to new immigration laws and university business for incoming graduate students. In my department, 99% of our graduate students are international so I had to really pay attention to the immigration information. Then when I got home (and yes, it was still raining), my husband wanted to go to the grocery store with me. He never wants to go to the grocery store! And normally, because it was raining I would have postponed that trip until the next morning. I couldn't understand it--he had the night off (he works evenings) and this is what he wanted to do. And we ended up eating dinner out. And THAT made me nervous because normally if I eat lunch out I eat dinner in. I don't like eating two meals in a row out. I made good choices yesterday and thankfully when I stepped on the scale I was down another .4 of a pound.

Drinking water does help!
Thin, thank you soooo much for the warm pm's of welcome! I'm really looking forward to getting to know everyone in here!
2cute, love your username by the way! What can I say about weight loss? I think we're all pretty much experts at it. I know I can "talk the talk" but the walkin' of it is the hardest thing I've ever done in my life!
Michelle, CONGRATULATIONS!!! That is an awesome loss!

I KNOW YOU CAN DO IT. I knew you "when" and girlfriend you have it in you!

Just spread that motivation around okay?! I'll try to keep it going for you!

That's one thing about moving to a new area--finding the right grocery store. Its like unchartered territory. Your lunch sounded great. In fact, so good, I was starting to feel a little stuffed myself and I haven't even had breakfast yet this morning!

I have got to get my butt in gear and start walking on my treadmill. At least I'm back to drinking water again. OH! I meant to say something to you about your college-work! My cousin's nephew earned a bachelor's degree from the same place...in accounting...and he's got a very good paying job now. So...keep up the good work!
Kat, love your take on the people of Survivor!

My opinions change from week to week about that show! Chad is probably the best lookin' male there...why did they have to vote off the good-lookin' guys? The show really does need some eye candy for us female viewers!

(I had to type that--my husband was looking over my shoulder as I typed this post--I just pushed him away--he's gone now...

I hope he makes some coffee!!!) I hear you about joining WW again. I'm really not into giving them anymore of my money--I'm like you I know the points system!! However, I did make a promise to myself if I'm not below a certain number by January 1, I will go back! But I'm really going to give it my all--I really want to do this on my own.

Great job on all that walking! I have got to get back to CURVES--my membership is just sitting there doing nothing...
Skittles, I noticed that Chad was doing that!
cdtobehealthy, perhaps you didn't make the wisest of food choices at Steak and Shake BUT you're working out and you're drinking water...and you are aware of what you are eating. Those are great accomplishments!
hippygoddess, should I give you a high-five for SINKING?!

I have never thought about that!

CONGRATULATIONS ON SINKING TO THE BOTTOM!
Barbara, just love those turkeys! Which reminds me of Thanksgiving and I'm not cooking this year! Which mean I won't have a bunch of leftovers in my house for me to nibble!
Michelle....oooooh extra $$$$!!!! Good for you! Have you checked on-line to see if there some outlets near you? About that party....ummmm...there was a huge party in my neighborhood last night and Wayne commented that we were not invited. Well goodness gracious we didn't know any of those people! (The party in question was not even remotely close to our street!)
2cute, good luck to your college team!
