Induction Boot Camp :: November 8 - 14

  • Hi Gang!

    OK... Boot Camp is back! Tomorrow is my weigh in day and 1st official day back on Atkins! Although I cannot do anything but walk right now.. I wanted to at least get my eating back under control!!!

    So My goals for the week:

    1) 100% Induction
    2) walk 1 mile a day - outside or treadmill
    3) Log all food in Fitday
    4) Drink 10-12 glasses of H2O every day!


    Anyone in with me?
  • KAREN - I am right here with you. Had my sausages and scrambled eggs this am after my workout at the gym. Already had 24 ounces of water not counting at the gym. Good luck with the walking.

  • Sir yes Sir! I'm with you. Not sure about the 1 mile a day but I will try and do a weekly total.

    I need to push more water into me.
    I've been OP for 7 days and counting (I need to keep that up!)
    I'll try and get the exercise in (not swearing on it and no promises!)

    So here's to another great OP day everyone!!!
  • I need a boot sargeant to get my butt in line! Eating has not been the best lately. So, I will stick fairly close to induction, but not exactly (Hope that's OK, and I can still post here).

    Here are my goals:

    (1). Stick to 20 grams of carbs or less per day.
    (2). Limit sweetner use (this has gotten out of control).
    (3). Get at least two Equator Trek miles daily.


  • Ok, I got up this morning and weighed in! 174!! OMG that is 10 pounds since surgery. I know a lot is water and the swelly belly but sheesh!


    So I am going downstairs to drink my coffee and get my eggs and sausages going! Be back later!
  • Can I join you all here? I've been off plan for a while now and having a hard time gettnig on track with ANY kind of plan. I've tried reg WW, Core WW & South Beach with no real luck.

    I've lost all my weight so far with Atkins, so it's back to Atkins I go.

    Tomorrow will be day 1 for me and I'm excited to be here. I really need the support right now.

    I look forward to getting to know you all better!

    Well Everyone! My first day OP is under my belt! it was tough because on of our friends sent us a Pumpkin bread loaf and I love that stuff! But I stuck to my guns and didnt have any!

    I got on the scale and already 1.5 pounds is gone! WOO HOO! You know me... I need the scales encouragement!
  • Good morning and thank you for the warm welcomes, girls.

    Day 1 is here and my 15 year old son is wanting to do this with me!!!! He's a big boy, 6'1" 230 lbs....he needs to lose about 30 lbs (he's big boned) and he is even joining the local gym today and is going to pay for the dues himself (15.00 monthly for a student)....which tells me, he's very serious about this and it does my heart good because the last time we checked his blood pressure at Rite Aid, it was on the lower end of high.

    Congrats on the loss, Karen!

    Well, Day 1 was OP for me. It sure feels good to be back on track and be strong enough to resist temptations.
  • I'm on day 8 of being OP!! But this bootcamp is great!!! I've got to admit I've had urges to snack on this, that and the other thing but I've somehow managed to turn away w/out actually following through. That's a first for me! WOOHOO!!!

    Way to go on the weight loss Karen!! Keep up the good work.

    I even managed to go to Dairy Queen last night with a friend, and all I had was water. This bootcamp seems to be working for me. Yay!
