Well I made it through day 2 and DH made it through Day 1. At lunch I wasn't sure if he was going to make it or not. We had the blue cheese burgers for dinner and they were delicious.
I had a slight headache yesterday but I am thinking that was just because I am not eating bad carbs and junk food. Tried to drink alot of water and have protein every 2 hours. That seemed to help.
Yes, the headache is probably the side effect of detoxing from sugar. If it persists past five days, call your doctor. Most people seem to have some kind of side effects of sugar detox for about 3-5 days in Phase 1. When those days are over, you'll find yourself feeling better than you ever felt on sugar! As for me, I never want to go back, no matter how good it may taste!
