Anchor you are funny! So you can talk like a southerner? haha My ex BIL is from Michigan so I have your down pat! haha It is very pretty up there. We went up there a few times when my other sister lived up. We went to Silver Lake for the 4th of July and it got down in the low 60's at night! I bought froze to death up there! But it was nice. The shopping went better than I expected it to go. Although she didn't tell me HB until after we left the dress shop and I said are you not going to tell me H B-day? Oh yea I forgot I thought about it on the way here but got so busy! She was supposed to buy me lunch but.... she was so late that by the time we got done it was almost supper time and I had plans with my Mom. Thanks for the Birthday wishes!

You guys are funny - I read the posts with an accent as well... my southern one is terrible, you only ever hear it on the movies and stuff Where did you get the aussie accent from - and please dont say the crocodile hunter !! LOL.... ohh check out this little beauty! he he.. I sometime put g'day on my posts but hardly ever say it in real life..

Artemis I guess we are all a hoot! I picked it up from tv. When me and one of my sisters was teenagers we went around talkin like it all the time and people actually thought we were from the land of down under! haha Then there is always Men at Work! haha I also used to have a pretty good english accent but most has faded now. My kids are not ammused by my goofy accents! Imagine that!

My sister lives in Louisiana, Lake Charles. So I always have a southern accent with a little cajun in it.

Silver Lake is great! 60 at night - that is so warm I would have to turn on the air conditioner! We were 38 when I got up this morning. Getting ready for snow. I think sometimes that after an overnight snowfall and before the plows get everything dirty, it kind of reminds me of God because everything is so white and pure. And the ice reflects sunshine so everything sparkles like prisms.

That is how we stay sane in Michigan during the winter. Y'all
