Memorial Day Goals

  • It's the first day of May and that got me thinking about bathing suit season and all that fun stuff. Anyone have any goals for this month? I've decided mine is to be under 200 by Memorial Day and to get to the gym at least once a week. Considering how much I've been slacking lately, I figured I wouldn't put on too much pressure!
  • The unreachable goal
    I would like to be in the 150's ...even if it's 159. by then. I'm at 171, so i'm looking at 11 ish lbs. but...i had a really good first week back this week and am looking at that first-week-all-water-weight-loss of 5 lbs. i'll take it giving me about 6-10 for the month of may!

    My goal is to get to goal. I have 3 pounds left, but a cruise in between now and then. I also have the water retention thing going on so we'll see...

    If I can exercise almost everyday and keep up the no cigs rule, then I'll be happy.

    bottom line ~ 135 by memorial day
  • gotta have goals ...
    I want to be at 180 by Memorial Day. Six pounds ... or so, depending on what the scale tells me tomorrow at WI!
  • My goal...
    is 1) Excercise everyday until the wedding (not the same kind of excercise, but enough to tone up)
    and
    2) Be at 175 by memorial day.

    My goals are 157 by Memorial Day (or the week after for my 5 year college reunion) and 154 by July 4th ( I would love to be at goal which is 153)

  • I'd like to be at 185... that's only 5.5 pounds.. so I think it's reasonable. I will work hard to get to the goal. Wish me luck!

    I have a goal of 170 by July 25. That's been my long term goal. That's 20.5 pounds in 12 weeks... so a little over 1.5 a week.

    I like these little goals. They make losing a lot of weigh not seem so overwhelming!

    My goal for Memorial Day is to make sure I get to the weekly weigh in/meeting and to stay OP 100%.

    I think I will throw some exercise in there too!

    We'll go back to my B-day goal from February: Get down to 155! Jeez, I'm going to throw a party once I get down to this point (will also be virgin territory). I also want to exercise 3 times a week.

  • Angie... Memorial Day is a US Holiday where we honor those that have died. My mom always goes with my grandpa to plant flowers on her mothers and brothers graves. For some people it is very special. It is Monday May 28th.

    My Goal is to be under 220.... About 4 pounds, since I gained this week but refused to change my siggy!!

    I also want to exercise MORE to kick this weight right on out of here.

    I love these little challenges/goals.... Let's keep doing this!!!
  • ok, memorial day is the actual day my mom passed away. In honor of her (she was my biggest motivation and encouragement when it came to weight loss) I WILL lose 3-5 pounds.

    I was at 159.6 at WI so I was 2 over my Memorial Day goal. After the weekend it is a different story and I know that I have gained at least 2 pounds. Here we go again!
