Yeah, after I started this thread, I did another google search for recipe calculators. There doesn't seem to be any freebies, but did find a couple of interesting software programs that I think I'll put on my Christmas list...lol.
The long method of totalling up the points of each ingredient is a lot of work to me. I do this sometimes when I'm throwing something together from leftover ingredients in the fridge, which is 3-4 ingredients max. Especially because I have A LOT of cookbooks and recipe clippings of favorite recipes. In order to do this, I would have to buy all the ingredients and then calculate it...only to possibly find out it's not so WW friendly after all...then what to do with all the ingredients. Ugh! So, sticking with WW recipes for now or recipes from Cooking Light and Light & Tasty or any other recipe with nutrition info at the end.
Thanks for letting me know you can get a FREE card from your leader. I'm going to ask about that.
Also thanks for letting me know the WW Recipe Builder doesn't always work right.
