  • Hi, Jen! I'm new also and need to lose about 60 pounds. Have you discovered a good weight loss plan that will work for you, or are you like me and can't seem to commit to one? I was walking 5 miles, 3-5 times a week, but I've lost my walking buddies and it is very hard to make myself get out there alone. I love to eat and bake like you. I'll be glad to lend support if you'll do the same for me!

    UGH! I love to bake too. I used to be REALLY good at following a diet plan, and it was very low fat and low cal. But this past year I just can't stop eating. Plus the weekend drinking parties my fiance' throws REALLY don't help me. We need to get something that works and doesn't make us feel starved. There's nothing worse than feeling hungry all the time. I moved and lost all my workout buddies too. I do go to the gym 5 days a week for at least 45 minutes of cardio, but it just doesn't seem to be helping. VERY FRUSTRATING!!! Plus I'm one of the few people that Atkins totally doesn't work for! Have u found anything good?

    P.S. don't you just love this site??

    My Name Is Tammy & I Have Lost 30 Lbs. I Was Raised In Ky. And Have Battled For A Long Time. I Was On Weight Watchers For Years - Lost 68 Lbs - Gained 20 Back.

    Now, I Low Carb - After The 1st Month It Will Get Easier. Exercise Is My Worst Thing. So, I Go To Curves - 30 Minutes A Day - Burns 500 Calories.
    It Works For Me. Right Now, I'm Home Nursing A Beoken Wrist - Trying To Maintain.

    Hi Tammy!

    Congrats on the 30 lbs though that's good!! Some people that if you are on Atkins you will lose quickly enough to notice! I thought I might have even gained a couple pounds after about 3 weeks. I suppose I could give it another shot though. I need to get out and get some exercise today!!
