I know someone said that Dr A was threatening to sue a company that released a protein bar/low carb bar called South Beach solutions and they said that it was probably pulled off the shelf. I went to the grocery store, one I don't often frequent but I had seen the "South Beach Solutions" bar there a few months ago before I started SB. Anyway, it was still there and I decided for the **** of it to read the ingredients and it definitely wasn't SB friendly.

Anyway, I just wanted to say if anyone encounters it and thinks it is affiliated with SBD, it isn't.

Nelie, I think someone was surmising that Dr. A would sue...I haven't heard anything of that sort, although I am sure he would have every right!

One Daily Dish recently spoke about those types of bars and explained his feelings on them. They are definitely not SBD friendly, and Dr. A does not think we should eat them at all. I think I put the article in the FAQ, but maybe not. Somedays my head isn't on straight!
