Introduction

  • I've been lurking for a while and decided it's time to jump in and introduce myself and start getting involved.

    I'm Michelle and I have been on WW forever LOL. I started Core about 2 weeks ago and even after major slippage last week I have pulled off a 3lb loss in those couple of weeks. I'm 36 and work full time.

    I'm looking forward to getting involved and getting to know everyone

  • Welcome! How have you adjusted to Core? Do you find it easier or more difficult as a working woman? We look forward to you being part of our board!!!

    Spryng I actually find Core easier as a busy person. I still do all my planning on the weekends and stuff but day to day I find it's faster to prepare things without having to keep stopping to make sure I'm not going over points. I was also end up stock piling my points until the end of the day in fear that I would run out. Now I just eat healthy and balanced all day instead of eating everything in the evenings.
  • I find the same thing. With points I ate the same breakfast, the same snack, the same lunch and avoided fruits becauise I worried about having enough points for dinner. I also suffer from blood sugar drops sometimes and being able to munch all day on healthy foods keeps my blood sugar level. At least I don't seem to be having any of those "spells" since I have been on Core. I think the extra fruit has helped. Look forward to your posts.

  • Janette I did the same thing! My breakfast and lunches never changed on flex.... it was boring but I knew what the pts were and how much it left me for dinner. And I liked to have the majority of my pts for dinner so most of the day I was hungry waiting for dinner, lol. Now I can have a modest breakfast and lunch and still eat a healthy nice sized dinner! (which I find now I hardly ever clean my plate)
  • Today is my first day on the Core plan-I just rejoined WW last night. I had alot of success with the flex points, but I want to try it this way this time. I obviously didn't keep the weight off as I am back with it...I lost 60# and made lifetime in January, but last night I weighed in at 27# above my goal, ouch!
