Sunday-Sunny

  • Penny-Sorry to hear about all the things happening with the kids. Sure is keeping mom busy. You should have a loss for sure, as long as you were staying focused. It's hard I know, I completley know how hard this can be, but doing what we can one day at a time, can get us there.

Eleni-You are so much in my prayers. So is your family.

Sherri-hope all is well with you this weekend.

Christie-I would have to admit that seeing the President would be awesome. I think the guy in your town is awesome. Now if we could only take that same determination and put it on our healthy lifestyle, then we would be at goal.

Amy-welcome again, and we are glad that you are here too. I'm glad you like your group.

Susie-having something we enjoy having isn't a bad thing like you said, it's when we have the things that are bad for us all the time, or we don't practice, moderation. Getting back on track was a good thing, and flushing out your system is another good thing. Keep in mind, you goals, be they long term or short term.

Summer-thanks, i know you are right about my time, but as mom's we do put ourselves on the back burner. We don't complain about it, we do it because we love our kids. I'm going to make the time that is necessary for me to get to goal. I have to. I'm so sick and tired of being fat.

Which brings me to me. I go back to work tomorrow, early morning. Most will still be in bed when I get in tomorrow. I have a new program to learn. The new OSX, plus get caught up on emails, and reorganize my desktop on my computer. Monday should be vary casual for me, but very busy. We went Saturday to our fall funday meeting. Our weight recorder was there, and I just happened to wonder what was my lowest weight ever at tops. 167 as of April 2003. I'm currently at 200. as of last meeting, however, my scale is showing a loss. Yeah. I'm definately not happy with the gain over the last 1.75 year. That means I have 33 pounds to get to that goal. But my first one is to get to what I weighed recently, before pregnant. Than I want to get to 180, and so on. If I got that low before, i can do it again. I must increase my activity, and I have plans on how that will work. I will make it work. Like I said I'm tired of being fat. I can do it.
Me today, nose is stuffy, sinuses messed up, and I have a headache. Still trying to get stuff around for my first day of "work".
We have been looking at houses. We have one in mind. We are going to drive by the house on Tuesday. $109, with 4 bedrooms, garage, 2.94 acres, basement, ect. Sounds good. Cross your fingers. The bank is working on an FHA/Ameri, loan for first time home owner. We will see. I'm praying, please all the prayers that you can mustard up right now would be great.
    Tops hugs
  • Hi Everyone,

I'm finally back on line, after being out of power for the last week. Eleni, I really hope that Ivan misses you altogether. It is miserable being without A/C. It was so hot and muggy and I could not get anything done without water (sweat) pouring off me. The only good thing about it was that we were outside a lot and visited with our neighbors. We got to know some of them a little better.
We didn't have much damage. We only lost a storage shed, but some of our neighbors had roof damage and will have to replace their roofs. We had a lot of broken tree limbs, which didn't take us long to clean up. The wind lifted that storage shed up into the air and when it came back down the shelves inside had fallen over and the shed was about 5 feet higher than it originally was. Then the wind and rain whipped against it until it was bent up and misshapened. It was a mess.
I'll be thinking about you Eleni, and hoping that storm misses you.
