Pizza Casserole

    2 lbs. lean ground turkey breast OR lean ground beef
    15 ounces tomato sauce
    1 1/2 teaspoons oregano
    1 1/2 teaspoons rosemary
    1 1/2 teaspoons garlic powder
    1/4 cup chopped onion
    1/4 cup red pepper flakes, or less
    1/2 teaspoon Splenda
    1/2 cup red or green peppers, sliced
    1 cup mushrooms, sliced
    2 cups lowfat mozzarella cheese, shredded

    1. Press ground meat into a rectangular baking dish (7x11), making a 1" lip around the edge.
    2. Simmer tomato sauce and herbs (oregano through red pepper flakes) until thick, about 1/2 hour.
    3. Add Splenda. Spread on crust and top with veggies, then cheese.
    4. Bake at 375 degrees for about 45 minutes.
