Monday menus

  • Today is my first official day of the Core Plan. I like to choose a milemarker (like Labor Day) so I can track easier.

    Late Breakfast:
    Chicken Salad
    Milk

    Early Dinner:
    Shrimp and scallop scampi
    White rice (none for me)
    Corn on the cob

    No snacks except for lots of water (if you can call that a snack!)
  • B- banana blueberry smoothie
    L- lentil soup (I added some lean ham to it)
    D- chicken avocado swiss melt with mashed potatoes and another veggie
  • oatmeal

    1/2 big cookie (5 pts.) (Oh, well, it could have been a whole cookie!)

    yogurt
    grapes
    green salad w/light dressing (.5 pts.)

    WW smoothie w/milk and frozen strawberries

    roast chicken
    salad
    sauteed mushrooms
    quinoa
  • Core Plan
    Breakfast 2 bran muffins 2 pts, cocoa
    Lunch 1/2 can Beef Barley soup that I added some couscous to. 5 f/f saltines 1 pt (activity pt)

    If I want a snack this afternoon I will make a smoothie with milk, Splenda and strawberries.

    Supper I plan a chicken salad, stir fried yellow squash with my olive oil maybe some steams broccoli.

  • Breakfast - 2 poached eggs on 2 slices red. cal rye toast (1 pt); cantaloupe

    Lunch - (Labor Day cookout) - Appetizer: Shrimp w/ cocktail sauce; Burger w/ lettuce, tomato, onion on red. calorie English muffin (1 pt), corn on cob grilled in foil w/ oil, black pepper & cayenne pepper - yum!), salad w/ balsamic vinegar & olive oil, 1 tablespoons pasta salad (1 pt), watermelon.

    Dinner - (planned - cabbage/vegetable soup; left over salmon & steamed broccoli

    Dessert - diet pudding w/ skim milk

    strawberries and yogurt creme
    S - cereal and milk
    D - shrimp ring and sauce, peas, brocolli
    S - popcorn and smoothie
  • B: Soutwestern scramble/canadian bacon/milk/toast (2)
    S: Plum
    L: fajita salad/chips (3)
    D: cottage cheese/pear
  • I was hungry today?? I did walk twice today ( 1 hour, brisk pushing TJ!)

    But I was a bit hungry?

    b- oatmeal, maple extract and 1pk splenda. coffee w/ skim
    s-fruit salad

    l-veg soup (1 cup) veggies (left over boil dinner)

    s - ff pudding

    d-wheat pasta, w/ sauce (ww recipe) 1 tbs grated cheese (fresh parm)
    salad with lite dressing.

    s- fresh fruit
    pop corn
    *** crystal light lemonade.
  • I wanted to update my menu for yesterday, I ended up making spaghetti for dinner with lean gr. beef and ww pasta instead of the chicken. I was craving it for some reason.
