Hey Chicks!
I left for a camping trip at 242 on Monday. I brought all my Atkins essentials. Burgers, cheese, nuts, bars. Even had my own cooler. Well, wouldn't you know it, a critter got into my cooler! Ate or nibbled at everything. SOOOOO the alternative to starving was to eat carbs! UGHHHH! After contemplating not eating anything for a week, I gave in and swore I would do induction for a month. I was careful, there were burgers and hotdogs aplenty. But the SMores and the baked beans got me good. So, when I returned thrusay, I had gained 4 pounds. 4 pounds! OMG. So I hit induction and increased my walking. Today, sunday, I have lost all 4 exta pounds plus 2 more! My Labor day goal was 240. I hit it early, even after eating baked beans and smores! I am amazed. I thought the damage was going to be really big. Don't get me wrong, I will hopefully never slip again. and this wasn't a planned slip, (Although I guess they never are?) this was out of necessity. It's just nice to know that the damage could be undone so quickly. THank you Dr. Atkins and God Bless!
