Doctor up Plain nonfat yogurt for CORE

  • I added blueberries, Fiber 1 cereal, a bit of vanilla extract, and Splenda.......tasted AWESOME!!!!!!!!1
  • I find that ff yogurt is a good substitute for mayo in tuna salad and potato salad. I used it when I was on the points plan.
  • The problem with flavored yogurt is the sugar content. I eat Yoplait and it is suppose to be made with Aspartame (& other sweetner) according to the label, BUT it also has corn syrup if you read the ingredients.
  • If anybody thing that plain yogurt has a tart taste there is a trick I was told by a chef. For 1 cup of plain yogurt add 1 tabl. of non fat dry powdered milk. It will cut the tart taste. I also have found that 1/4 tsp. of vanilla and Splenda makes great Vanilla yogurt. I have read where others are adding fruit but letting it rest overnight so the flavors develop. What about Crystal Light for Lemon, maybe some Kool Aid s/f of course for other flavors.

  • what about mixing some sf davinci syrup? like strawberry or rasberry?
  • I like to add coconut and almond flavoring to my FF plain yogurt with splenda...It is wonderful! Then you can add any fruit or top with a crunchy cereal.
  • OK - I experimented this weekend and added some sf lime jello to some ff plain yogurt - it was great!!! I didn't measure, just poured a little in and mixed. You need to leave it a few minutes so the jello dissolves or it will be a bit grainy, but it was good!!!! It didn't take much.
  • I mixed a serving of apple sauce with plain yogourt, splenda and maple extract.... YUMMY!!!
  • You can also make SF Jello and use 8 oz of yogurt in place of the cold water. It makes a yummy dessert. Add in some flavor appropriate fruit for an added treat. I've also used applesauce in place of the cold water, and that's good too.
  • I added some sugar free fat free chocolate sauce and it was wonderful!
  • I added a little sugar free cocoa, packet splenda, pineapple and grapenuts for my breakfast this morning and it was really good..
