Jana, Im thinking Mary probably is exhausted with 3 little girls at home and working. And then of course the scare with Dale, sounds like she needs some rest and yes multi vitamins. I would love to redecorate my bedroom, Monte was to spend a week home before our holidays but thats going tobe the week after we are home. But Ive already told him we are painting.

Well tonight I saw things that I wish I hadn't...eeewwww What I can say about this case is, the person I am guarding is gay. And spends alot of time at gay bars,,,and tonight I followed him to his favorite. Well I couldn't find a safe spot to park and still see his vehicle. So I did alot of driving around,,,well I whpped into this one area to back up and turn around...well I saw 4 men, in well different degrees of undress and sexual activites....ewwww I have to say that was a first for me. This case has had me sitting in drug enfested streets, with alot of prostitutes and street people.
Well, I was shocked,,,my boss was like how is it I always get the interesting stuff happening on my shift...lol oohh Like I want to have that always happening...lol Not!
Well i should get going, gotta work in the morning and then off to see the specialist for Brandon's feet...then football then refresher course in CPR.

I have a similiar gross gay story. When I was dating my ex-husband , he lived with a gay man ( secretly think my ex may have swung that way too, but that's another story). Well this man woul dhave his boyfriend over all the time and I would constantly hear them banging around in the shower ( I guess they liked it rough, butually rough according to my ex) and They would walk around the house naked, finger painting each other.
I still have nightmares..... eeeeeew and double eeeeew. I could care less what others do with their bodies and their lifes, etc, but I sure as heck don't want to witness it. some people have no shame. Makes me sick. I hope you can wash those scenes from your mind and sleep clearly at night. hee heee. lol. ;-)

Don't have much time to post, need to be jumping in the shower in just a few minutes to get ready to go to PT. But had to come in and say good morning ladies. Missed everyone at Chat last night. I hung around to see if anyone was coming. Oh well...maybe next week.

Angie~that is kind of gross. I don't have anything against gay people per se but don't want to see them kiss and such. When I was younger and living in Little Rock, AR a friend of mine worked with and was friends with a gay guy and they talked us into going to a gay bar-we did! It was funny because going up the stairs you had to pass people lined up against the wall, we were close enough to see their nose hair! And I kept thinking what a waste of a good looking man! There were so many good looking hottie's there! Anyway, me and my friend were standing by the boy and I guess had a look on our faces because a few guys came up and asked if we knew what kind of place this was, ummm yeah. Our other friend Jill was out dancing with her gay friend and finally came to us and told me and Molly to just go out there and dance together. We looked at each other and laughed, and said don't think so. Well, while standing at the bar two guys came over and were standing close to one another then the one started rubbing the others a$$ and we kind of just looked but then they started kissing and that is when we left. We were grossed out. Of course I would have been grossed out whether it was a gay couple or a straight couple. Just don't see why people need to carry on like that in public. I don't think it would bother we so much now, don't know. I love that show Queer as Folk, one of my favs and I never miss it. It doesn't bother me to see the guys have kiss but when the women start, don't know why but it is just nasty to me. Anyway...when are you guys going on vacation? I forgot, first of Sept? Make sure you let us know. Speaking of kids, mine are 19 months apart (the boys), and 23 months apart-DD and #2 DS. I wanted themm close because for me I thought it would be better, and it actually was for me. Oh yeah Angie, I can do some damage in Hallmark. With all the points I have now i should be receiving a hefty certificate soon! Love patchoulli. DD and I go into this store in the mall that has all the incense and stuff-smells soooo good. We call it the hippy store.

Well i dont think what the 2 gay guys were doing is wrong so they have sex in the bathroom i am sure straight couples do that too. I understand the walkin around naked in the house thing but if u thin bout it from thepoint it is his house too then he really is allowed to. If it was a straight man walking around many people would be ok with that. If it was a straight couple in the bathroom that would be fine.

Some people are soo closed-minded when it comes to homosexuality. I live in NYC and people of the same sex hold hands in public places even kiss and we all go awww look at that cute couple not be grossed out cuz they r the same sex. YOur gender is irrelevant when it comes to love. Now maybe i'm just more open bout this is yes i do live in NYC and not somewher ien the mid-west where as i've heard from friends being gay is shunned upon.

It is people like these that make hate crimes happen and discriminate which cause horrible things to happen.

I have no problem seeing a same sex couple kiss or hug or whatever they r just showing their affection like straight couples do. It is legal and well if u dont like it dont look. THey shouldnt have to live their life in clsoed doors because it makes you guys uncomfortable. They already came out soo to speak they shoulded have to stay in.

THat is my opinion on the matter. Sorry but i had to jsut get my feelings out cuz i read this thread and my feeligns jsut started to bubble up.


Anyway. I went to the store today and bought all healthy foods the fruit looked soo great so i'm gona be munching on fruit for the next few days

I am still befuddled by the medical things in my life and hoping for answers soon. I am tired of feeling so bad. Spent 2 nights of our trip in my room, doing nothing, feeling blah. (feeling sorry for myself here)
We are having rain today and it looks to be setting in for the whole week-end. Maybe I will get my house cleaned up since I can't get outside.

Elle~yes everyone is entitled to their opinion and I don't think anyone said they were against gays. Just that I don't care to see one's tongue going down anothers throat, or see them having sex or fondling each other in public, gay or straight. I am not saying it is wrong or they shouldn't do it, just that I don't care to see it and don't think it is necessary to do in public. Yes I live in the midwest and they are somewhat like that, but not all people are. I also lived in CA for many years and people there are a little like it too, unless of course unless you live in San Fran. No one was putting down gays-considering I know a few and I have nothing against any person for their race, religion or sexual preference, as long as it (the sex) is behind closed doors. A little pat on the butt, or a hug, or a kiss-no tongue is fine in public but more than that...anyway, that is JMHO.

Sue~hey, I saw that Chat was being moved to 8 so was online at that time. Maybe I read it wrong but was on till almost 9 and no one was online except Susan I think and I checked back a little after 9, guess no one wanted to chat with me-LOL. I saw that Marti was going out with hubby and didn't think she would make it. Anway...I may try next week and see what happens. So sorry that they can't find out what is bothering you. Well, went to PT and she gave me more exercises to do, which is fine as long as it keeps me from seeing her so much. Not that she is a bad person, she is really sweet but if I don't need to go so often I would rather not. Went to Michael's afterward to see if I could find some fall stuff. I found some pretty mums to take to the cemetery, and a scarecrow hanging Welcome thing. Rather than decorate for Halloween and Thanksgiving I just bought a fall flag, door hanger (Scarecrow Welcome) to put out front and it can stay there for the end of Sept. till Thanksgiving weekend. I already have a fall wreath that I made a few years ago, still holding up pretty good. Last night I checked my emails and I was so surprised to see one from my dear friend Ms. Lourdes, I have known since our DD's were 2-they are 20 now. I don't know what happened, her and her family are family to me and last year in June, well actually I had written her before but I had wrote in June-Nov. and in the middle of Nov. everything I had sent to her came back bundled up in a rubber band. Now why would the post office hold onto all that from June? Everything from June on was returned to me. I swear I thought something horrible had happened but I couldn't find her, she had moved as did her parents. Well, to make a long story short she wants me and DD to come and visit in Nov. A lot of things have happened in that time frame and she got really depressed and didn't do much. So I am going to make it happen. While we have kept in contact since I left CA for the last time in '94 I haven't seen her since other than in pictures. Needless to say that totally made my day. Anyway... that how my day has gone. I have absolutely nothing else to do today except get some letter writing done and some cards sent. TTFN

Ellle - welcome!! About the gays, etc. I am also from the midwest, and consider myself openminded. I have some gay friends and have some gay relatives. I don't care what they do... but not in my face. Same for a straight couple.... get a room, lol.

Cristi - I have already exhausted just about every color in the rainbow throughout the years, so picked something earthy, like I did for my living roon. The carpets are green - the house came with them. So I am limited somewhat. But I do love the new look! For how long?.... well, we'll see. I have no idea why you didn't see us in chat? I was there from 7:50 until 9:15 or 9:20.... I didn't see Susan either??

Well, I've been busier than a one-armed paperhanger today! Had lots to do, and then did the pics of our BR for the photo thread. Also had a nice lunch with a friend. She works at the hospital so we ate there.... the food is as good as what you would get at most restaurrants, which is more that you can say for some hospitals. Had baked sole and a veggie medley. Yum!

Chat last night was fun, but only a few of us showed. Not sure why Cristi and Susan couldn't see us?? Anyway, why do we always end up talking about "girl" stuff?? lol!!

Hello ladies…..how are you all doing?

I just gave him his first taste of cereal Thursday night! He LOVED it, and then got mad at me because I told him that once the bowl was empty there was no more until tomorrow. Then he got a bath because he kept putting his fingers in his mouth after each bite!

Well, things have taking a turn for the worst so to speak. My hubby came home from work today and told me that they suspended him for something that he didn’t do. They told him that when some one gets in on Monday, they will investigate into it. So Tommy is going to look around for a new job just in case or for unemployment until he can get a new job. And since money has been tight as it is, things are going to be extremely tight around here now.

On top of it all I have to call tomorrow morning an schedule Brandon’s 4 month check up. I guess it is a good thing that he is covered by Medicaid for a year after his birth. So that will help out, since his doctor’s visit was going to cost us $90 for 5 shots and the visit. ($15 co-pay for them all.)

Angie~ We had originally planned on having Brandon and the next one(s) two years apart. That way it gave me some time to get in better shape and for my body to get out of being pregnant. But we shall see how things go now. What do you do for your job?

I am sitting here waiting for the AC to come on in the office!!! I have become so pampered!!

The office was closed because of a staff meeting. My boss and I arrived at the same time. I was invited to the meeting but passed.
Wanted to spend time with the kids and especially Gabster. She seems to be tossed around a lot lately and I need some much needed snuggle time with her.......so , we spent the morning together.

Going to get her tricycle today!!

Girls are going to a Friday Frenzy at church tonight. I think we will have fun tomorrow Jana!! Need to find me a hoe and rake though. .....lol....they will have bagels and coffee and will provide lunch. Taking Gabster to grandma's in the morning.........all set

One of my residents gave me a piece of smoked salmon!!! Thought I would share my good fortune with you all!

We have the city working on the water .......somewhere, I don't know. So, our water has this brown color to it. I was going up and down the elevator filling up a pitcher for someone that needed water to take his medication with......and this resident got on with me and we started talking....
I spotted the baggie he was carrying and said "omg- is that fish!?".....I was sooooooo hungry.
As a matter of fact ..... it was smoked salmon! He was taking it up to someone..... his daughter had given it to him.....blah,blah.......

So, he gave it to me!! and.........he is going next week fishing and if he catches a salmon he will bring it to me!!

So, I gobbled that down for dinner and drove to the store and bought another resident 2 gallons....I also bought me a peach.

That was my dinner story......
