Starting the topic. I'll be back to catch up on next week and post a little more once I get back from my mom's for a short visit (coffee and book exchange).

Well, I couldn't resist a quick read and had to come back to say:
HAPPY BIRTHDAY CARLA!!!!!
I hooe it was a great one and your weekend wasn't too tough. Ummm, dare I say it? Any leftover chocolate with that chocolate buttercream frosting should either go in the freezer or garbage! Congratulations on that great loss - yess, onwards and downwards to the new decade! When do you leave for vacation?
Karen - I'm glad you had a great weekend at the property. Did you find your glasses? I'd be lost without mine as I don't wear my lenses all the time. OK, kiddo, so what's your plan to get back to exercise? Carla is going to go hiking on vacation. (the drill sergeant is sneaking back in).
Cat - welcome!
The beach was great. Although the day we drove out we had rain and had the same the morning of our last full day, we basically had great weather. The beach was beautiful, we played a lot of tennis and we ate great food. Most of the time I was OP - I did slip up a bit but I didn't go nuts. I didn't weigh myself on Saturday because I FINALLY got TOM on Thursday (after 55 days!) but my weight was creeping up a bit over the week so since we've been back, I've tried to be OP (Phase II). This morning the sneak peek was up from before vacation and I still have a bit to go to get out of the 150's (darn!) but it was better than it was late last week. Tony and I are heading to Atlantic City tomorrow, coming back on Friday so I've decided to do the best I can eating and drinking wise and will go on Phase I next week for a week just to get off whatever I may have gained on vacation.
I'd better get going - I am intrigued with the new WW program and will take a peek at Jocelyn's post later.
Have a great one!

Hi all.
Judy - Welcome home! I missed you. Thanks for the birthday wishes. Yep, there is leftover chocolate cake with buttercream frosting. It's sitting on my counter and I'm contemplating what I'm going to do with it. Glad to hear you had a good time and, for the most part, good weather at the beach. Sounds like you had a lot of fun. What a bummer that TOM came on your vacation.
Lunch was at a Polish buffet on Saturday. I've had so much dough-based food and sugar this weekend, it's sad. Luckily dinner at my mom's was simple - hot beef sandwiches. Weigh-in on Wednesday is not going to be pretty, I'm afraid. We leave Saturday afternoon for vacation. I'm not really worried about eating while we're gone. Our motel will have a small fridge and a microwave and since we have to keep an eye on our budget as well as our calories, we plan on eating a lot of our meals in - sandwiches, soup, whatever we can throw together. I'm going to Trader Joe's to stock up on good snacks and Costco to stock up on water. Add the hiking to it and I should be ok.
Have a great day everyone.
Carla
Hi All...
Looks like the quietest week ever! I'm just back from a quick business trip to Saskatoon of all places.
Judy, missed you! Glad to hear you enjoyed your week at the beach. A week of Phase 1 will take care of your holiday gain.
Carla, I hope you have a great trip! We'll miss you! Hope your weigh in wasn't *too* terrible - I currently have about 10 lbs of PMS water weight on and nearly died when I got on the scale this morning. So I'm ignoring the scale this week.
I've been NOP for the past few days, and need to get back aboard! We're going up to Lone Butte for the weekend; I'm leaving first thing in the morning; Mike will join me after work. So I won't be back on the boards till Monday. Have a good weekend!

Wow quiet week.
Karen - If you read this on Monday, hope you had a great weekend. And I hope that that water leaves you soon.
Judy - I hope you enjoyed your trip to AC.
I have been eating horribly and my weigh in was so bad, I don't want to think about it. I'm going to weigh myself tomorrow morning, assess the damage, and then do my best to lose over vacation. We really don't plan on eating out that much, so I'm hoping I'll do ok. And now back to packing. We'll be home sometime on Tuesday the 24th and then have to head right to a parent's meeting for Ana's school, so I'll probably be back on the boards on Wednesday, the 25th.
