Refried beans snack?

  • OK, I know I have seen this somewhere in these threads and it is NOT in the recipe forum. Checked already.

Someone posted about just warming some beans and cheese for a quick meal. Jenne, was it you? Can you refresh my memory?

I am excellent OP when at work. Its the 4 days at home that kill me. And its lunch plus afternoon snacks that seem to derail me. I have a great OP breakfast and plan a good dinner, but the midday sends me spinning. And when home alone with the kids, they go down for nap and the last thing I want to do is make myself a salad.

SO, the Progresso Soup is something I can make fast and have on hand. I remembered the beans thing...can whoever it is please share again?

    TIA!!
  • If you are phase 2, you can throw some on a ww tortilla with some cheese and microwave it. Healthy bean burritos.
  • I'm not sure what the beans thing is, but it might be in M1sstnt's thread about beans? Basically you throw some beans in a dish (watch how much you eat, a can is about 3 servings, I think) with some cheese (1oz is a serving) along with salsa, sour cream, green chilis, etc. Whatever sounds good to you. If on Phase 2, you can throw it in a WW tortilla.

I live off tuna salad when I am busy. You can eat it with lettuce and chopped tomatoes in a pinch, or put it on WW toast with a piece of 2% milk cheese on top for an open face tuna melt. Yum!
