I have a question

  • Hey all, hope your diet's going great

    I have a question, regarding tomorrow night. It's my Mum's 40th, and I know I can stick to Phase 1 (been on it a week and one day), except I'm not so sure if I can resist birthday cake. It's my all time favourite. I have made a pact to myself ONLY ever to eat cakes and such when it's my birthday or my families. Will this throw me right of course, or is it okay to indulge in a tiny slice?

  • Wel, you are either on program or off program - your choice. It could set off cravings.
  • There is no cheating on phase 1. I mean, honestly you can have whatever you want but you are just cheating yourself. But adding that much sugar from cake into your diet in the middle of the Phase 1 detox kind puts you back where you started. It might not make the scale jump up too much, but it will make your body feel off.

    You have tight goals in mind, with a good deal of weight you want to lose by August. To meet the goals you laid out for yourself, you need to stay on plan.
