I live in NC, but my parents live near Pittsburgh, PA, so I could combine a visit home with a get-together

I just wrote on the other thread that I was thinking Pittsburg would be the best place. It's close to Ohio, NY, VA, WV and not to far for Maryland. I was thinking this fall for a date. What do you all think?

October 17th is an away game for the Stealers. So there should be no crowd issues. So how about Saturday the 16th. I work Friday eveings so I was thinking we could meet on a Saturday and Have an eveing get together and maybe do breakfast on Sunday. And only doing one night at a hotel would cut down on cost for people also. Plus I was thinking it would be around peak leaf time for those of us who like to drive around and see the fall colors.

My wife is thrilled she just said that is where the Ikea store is. She has been trying to drag me there for the past couple of months. Actually I want to go to.
