Hey everyone! Is it Monday already?
Trazzie - Sounds like you had a great weekend!
Brenda - Weekends are killers, aren't they? Good luck with DH! Mine lasted a whole 3 days.
Leenie - Mentally sending sunshine your way!
Jane - Honey, don't get upset because noone said anything! I'm almost to 70 pounds and there are still people who don't mention it. I've learned that very rarely is it a case of people not noticing. More often it's a case of people feeling like talking about weight is inappropriate. Trust me - I've called people on this before. They worry that if they say 'you've lost weight!' that they're implying that you had weight to lose and think it's just rude. No worries, love. You're doing great!
Paula - what a great thing to be doing for your DD! Not only will she be healthier, she'll feel better about herself and you're instilling good eating habits for when she grows up. Good for you!
Karen - Ohhhhhhhhhhhh I love pampering nights! And thanks for reminding me that my eyebrows need a wax

I'm sorry to hear about your sister. You are such an awesome person - it sucks that you got treated that way. Now my question for you, oh Running One: when you started running in the mornings, did it ever make you ill? I've tried working out first thing in the morning and just get so nauseated that I can't take it.

Any ideas? Otherwise, I'll just stick to afternoon workouts.
Jina - The Lightning won, huh? I was wondering about that. I don't watch hockey on tv very often, but oh how I love to watch it live! I think it's more for the fighting than anything
TG - 2 Ghia's? Lucky girl! I'm glad you're starting to feel better!
My weekend was great fun! What's new?
Friday, we had a bbq at a friend's house with the whole group. There was minor drama when the girl that's 'in love' with me, Casey, thought she saw me kiss our friend Jeannie. Ugh! I told her in no uncertain terms that she needed to stop the jealous girlfriend crap if she wanted to be friends with me and that who I kiss is my business and as long as DH is fine with it, I'll kiss whoever I want and right in front of everyone - so there!

And I never kissed Jeannie
So, we had the bbq, then went en masse to the bar for a bit, then came back to the house we were having the bbq at, and finally went home around 6 am. Here's the weird thing that I've been noticing about me over the last couple of months: I don't like eating in front of other people. I don't know why. I can barely eat in front of my own DH. Picking at something like a veggie or fruit tray is fine, but I just can't bring myself to put actual food on a plate and eat it if there are people around. Any ideas why?
Saturday was a great victory day for me. DH and I went and hiked up Multnomah falls. Those that live in the area know what that means. For those that don't, it's only about a mile hike, but it's very very steep. I attempted to do it last year and only made it halfway. When I was younger, I could make it all the way, but would have to stop every few switchbacks to try and catch my breath. Well, not this time, baby! I made it to the top with not problem at all! I stopped a few times to let DH catch his breath (

) but I was fine! I even jogged part of the way up! I just kept laughing and going 'OMG, is this really me?' It was great!
Saturday night, we stayed in with a couple of friends and watched LOTR, Return of the King and then played monopoly. The movie was really good! And monopoly? Well, the other girl and I got out of the game pretty early on. DH and the other guy are meeting up every night after work until someone wins
Yesterday was another eye-opener for me, but not in such a fun way as Saturday. I was running off to visit a friend at her new condo by the river in Portland, and I hadn't planned well, so I needed quick food. SO do I get something plan friendly? Of course not! I got to McD's and order a #2, no cheese, with a diet lemonade to drink. I ate all the fries and then went to take a drink and (dammit!) they had given me sprite instead of lemonade. We all know what sugar does to me, so I had to throw that out. I had one of the hamburgers and felt so full I thought I'd explode. This turned out to be a very good thing. Within 1/2 an hour, my whole body hurt and my head was killing me. It felt like I was getting the flu. I was all confused until I remembered that I'd felt the same way after I tried eating a hot dog with a bun. So I felt like crap the rest of the day, but I learned my lesson! Normal bread is out all together unless I want to be sick. On one hand it sucks, but on the other hand, it makes it easier to stay OP!
Ok, enough rambling out of me. Hope everyone has a great Monday!
Kisses!
