Per the kfc web site, the Triple Crunch Sandwich w/o sauce is 390 calories, 15 g fat, 2 g fiber. So that makes it 9 points. Pretty good point-wise for fast food!
I believe the Big Crunch is different from the Triple Crunch. On the TV commercial, it has cheese and some other stuff on it. So I don't know if 9 pts is correct or not.
STRAITLOVER: Glad you posted here! I didn't know there were more sandwiches out there. My KFC only has the Triple Crunch (2 versions). Maybe they are slow about bringing on the new larger BIG CRUNCH sandwich. Then again, they may never have it. We are a small town and don't get all the different items at KRC, Arby's etc. so I didn't know the BIG CRUNCH was a different sandwich.
ANGIE: I'm sorry I gave you info on the wrong item. If Kelly S sees this she may be able to find the right nutritional information for your sandwich.
The Triple Crunch at my KFC has 3 crispy chicken strips on it, so if your Big Crunch had a crispy piece of chicken, they are definitely different sandwiches. The Big Crunch may turn out to be less points, since it seems like 3 smaller pieces covered with crispy batter and deep friedwould be more fat calories than one larger piece. But I am just guessing now....
At this point I don't think it matters anymore....It has been a couple of days since I had it...so whether it was higher or lower then the triple crunch....oh well. Thank you all for taking the time to try to figure it out for me.
The sandwich I saw w/ the cheese on it was the Big Bang, not the Big Crunch (saw the ad again). I think they need to come up w/ some new names for their food ...
