Question before starting

  • In phase 1, can I eat any meal that falls into that meal category(i.e. breakfast or lunch) as long as it is a phase 1 recipe? I guess what I'm getting at is some of the meals in the first 14 days in the book I don't think I'll like and would like to substitute for something different. Is this okay, and are there any guidelines I should follow?

    Mix and match as much as you please. As long as you stick to the allowed food list. And make sure you're eating lots of GOOD vegetable carbs.

  • buster i dont think i have ever ate the things in the book. make smart choices from the food list and put them together to your taste. Dont sway from the list and you should be fine. Like ellis says eat good amounts of the right veggies they really so fill you up for the day. And dont dismiss snacking.
  • Buster, I ate the things in the book for one day but then decided I hate being told what to eat! I make my own things up to suit my tastes just sticking to the list. Welcome to the beach, have fun shopping!
