Weekend May 1 & 2

Good Morning,

Can you believe its MAY? wow time is flying. Two more weeks and our area is out of danger of frost so we can start planting outside

Today I am thinking of taking DD bowling, I have to run and visit my sis in the hospital and then food shopping. But mostly it is going to be 80 degrees here so I will be outside mostly.

Tomorrow we are expecting rain so I will do indoor stuff like cleaning and cooking after church.

Watcha all doing ??

Today is finial here. HURRAY tell you all about it .

Leenie- It pooring down rain here since yesterday. Sweet things are setting down at work for you. Hope coming week goes smooths

Just a quick hello.....I am meeting a friend for lunch.....so I have to get ready.

Flower.....today it's another warm & sunny day here....are you still jealous?....lol.

Leenie....maybe I missed something.....what is wrong with your sister?...why is she in the hospital?

Good Afternoon Gang!

It has been raining here since yesterday at 4 pm and it is really getting old. We had a huge storm during the night. DH got up and watched the weather for a few hours so I slept pretty peacefully knowing he was watching things. Matter of fact, I slept until 8:30 this morning which is really late for me. I can't remember the last time I slept that late.

I haven't accomplished much today. I am really moody and edgey and I know it's just PMS, so I'm just trying to stay out of everybody's way. Thankfully this will pass. Somedays it is no fun being a woman!

I hope everybody is having a good day!

It is sunny & warm here in Ky................
The Mexican Fiesta went real well...weather was nice!Lots of food for all!

Today.attended a small Baby shower at O Charleys...the 2nd "shower"like that in a month..........SORRY but I think it a pretty ""lazy"way to shower someone! We addressed our own Thank You notes.paid for our own lunch and waited 30 min on all the late people...............what happened to "social grace"? Oh well.guess I am an old FUDDY DUD! What do you all think? None the less.the Mother To Be got presents!

Heading for Sat night church.helping with the kids tonight..............later....taters!

Hey Cin - glad everything went well with the mexican dinner!

I have never heard of a shower like that! wow! so like you all go to a restaurant for lunch? order and pay for your own lunch? address your own envelopes so they can send you a thank you note - wow! do they even have a cake??? I don't think you are an old Fuddy Dud at all - I have never heard of such. We just threw my niece a bridal shower and it was nothing like that girlie. These southern ladies down here (especially my mom) would have had us hog tied and drug thru the streets if we tried to make them address their own thank you cards. sounds like next thing they'll be doing is sending out invitations that say "no shower, just send me a present" hehehehe

Have a good time at church and send some sunshine my way.

I can't believe May is already here.Where has the time gone?I am doing pretty good considering TOM is here.I have been so moody.I have been craving chocolate alot lately...OY!! Been taking care of FuFu and running around trying not to go crazy.

Ok ladies The lord of the dance was Wow Wow Wow. Never seen anything like it. They dance so wonderful. It was 2 hours long and it went by so quick. The on core was so sweet. Wow Wow Wow. How do they tap like that. I want to see it again. Hubbies parents took us all out to dinner At the cracker barrel. That was really nice. Easy to pick something healthy unless your husband is whispering get some thing cheap agggrrrr. Cause no one else did even him. aggr. Men.
My son girlfriend didn't look as bad as i thought she would with a broken nose. She was funny cause she was taking pain pills . I was like on mother over drive with her making sure she was ok. You ladies know how that goes. I think i drover her nuts.

April-Yes April I'm jealous. It's raining and burr it cold burrr

Cathy- i feel for you i'm on mine too. No fun going to the show and having to go to the bathroom every place we went.

Cin- no fun waiting. My family is like that every one show up when the want. Drive me up the wall . Just not polite. O well i never miss out im there on time and stay till everything over and have much more fun than them.
Don't sound like they did much work. Pass all the work of on everyone. I wouldn't of address my thank you card. I just thank myself for doing all the nice things i did for myself.

lynnie- Great Big Hugs!!! Sending away those mean old chocolate craving go a way .

Hey!!!

I just found out last night I am going to be flying to Des Moines, Iowa for a week to judge nationals!! Are any of you near Iowa?? If so, I'd love to know what there is to do around there, and maybe meet ya too!! I am going end of July until August 2nd. I keep getting teased that all I will get to see is corn and tornados. There HAS to be more than corn in Iowa.

Thanking you in advance for anything you can tell me about this place.

I managed to bowl 2 games last night, itchy eyes and all! I bowled a 217 and 167. Wouldn't you know it the stitch that was driving me bananas fell out AFTER I was all done bowling. Then I just helped the other one out in the other eye with a pair of tweezers. Don't worry, they were ready to come out...past the 10 days limit so that's why they were just hanging around. I feel SOOO much better now!! Ahhhhhh... Plus now I can drive so...California here I come.

Lynnie: What's a girl without chocolate?? I just switched over to dark chocolate because it has the good fats and stuff in it whereas milk chocolate doesn't. Plus it's a bit richer so I don't tend to gobble it all down in 1 sitting.

Been a fun day . Hubbie and son work on the car so house was mine. Then they went to show off what they did to the car.
While they were gone. First did some house work. got that out of the way.
One of the best part was being on the phone for 2 hours straight, no interruptions. What way to talk. Who thought that was possible.
Made plans with a friend to go out next weekend Or rather in. Going to her house for the night. Can wait, girl talk. Be my first since i was 17 years old.

Made chili cause it was so cold. Have plenty to freeze for latter.
All in all been a wonderful time. What it is to be alone Party

Noodle - nope live in Ohio. No clue what you could do. I know you will have fun.
Bowl better than me . Never get more than 100

Hi there to all....my name is april

i am fairly new to 3fc...and was told by the april chicks that there is a place here that can help me....

i am suffering from depression and trying to lose weight....lately my depression has been really difficult to manage...and the depression is not only brought on by my weight issues...but also by many other things in my life...i was married for 6 years...had the courage to get out about 2 years ago...it was a bad place for me and the kids to be....ive been doing the single mommy thing for 2 years now...got a 7 year old son with adhd (very angry child)...and a 3 year old daughter who seems to be picking up my sons attidude....the kids father is not in there lives on a regular basis which makes things even more stressful for me and them....i work full time in a demanding (physically) job....but i like it....the depression seems to be worse around my time of the month...anyone hear of PMDD...premenstrual dysphoric disorder???....sounds just like me....anyone know of anything to help.....i am trying to lose weight by counting calories and am starting to walk for exercise...i have a wonderful boyfriend who tries to make me feel beautiful and tells me all the time that i am...but i cant see it in me...all i see is the fat....ive been with him for almost 8 months....and hes great with the kids...but lately my son has been just terrible to him....i am at the end of my rope with my life.....its so full of stress.....i am finding everyday a struggle to just get up ...some days id rather just not be here.....does anyone here have advice or know where im coming from???if so email me or post a reply...please...thank you all so much for listening.....

Hi Ladies,

Welcome April Pepper Sounds like your going thru some rough times for sure. Are you on any medications for your depression? if not first step I would suggest to do is see your doctor. Counting calories and exercise is the way to go. How many calories are you striving for a day ? how much are you trying to lose ? We have several children in my family (neices & nephews) that struggle with adhd, and also I believe although never diagnosed that I have some sort of ADD. Just wish when I was a kid they knew more about it.

Well its good to see you here w/us. Hope you can join us on the daily boards so we can get to know you better.

hello all...

wow...the weekend flies by...back to work today...

i love this place....all u ladies are great....

leenie- i have been prescribed Zoloft for the depression....my depression is so much worse around the time of my menstrual cycle....its tough to handle....im striving for 2000 calories or less a day to hit my goal weight of 145...i was told to take my goal and multiply by 15.....my sons adhd is getting tough to take...he was prescribed dexadrine (a drug likt ritalin)...and took that for the 1st day and had a bad reaction to it....and now im scared to take him back...the dr. prescribed to high a dose....so im trying different things to help him.....
