Hi All,

My friend started SB about one month ago and has lost 20 lbs. so far. She called this morning to tell me that her husband noticed her breath was "less than fresh" lately. She said he noticed it about a week ago. Anyone have this problem? Any hints what might cause it.

If she is keeping her carbs too low, she will go into ketosis which can cause bad breath. That's an Atkins symptom. Is she eating legumes and other veggies that have a few carbs or sticking with salads?

Sounds like she's in Ketosis.
