Good morning everyone.
I am a hurting unit as I type this - slipped on a patch of ice this morning and my two legs went straight up in the air. I landed with most of my weight on my right side. As a result - my hand is cut and a little swollen, my arm, hip and ankle are sore. It's a little early to tell if there's going to be any lasting damage. We'll see as the day wears on.
lala: How is the situation next door? I haven't experienced anything exactly like that, but we do have difficulty every year during the latter part of June - around the time that school lets out. The kids congregate on the boardwalk on the lake behind our house. They drink and make lots of noise (and do other things apparently given the interesting array of clothing we find there sometimes). We call the police anytime there's a lot of noise after 11 p.m. I really like the approach that Melissa's parents took with the landlord in their situation.
We ran 12 km yesterday morning. No difficulty at all - including hills - so I'm encouraged. In the afternoon, I tackled my sewing corner. Wow, it looks great now - I even got most of my photos in order. We didn't do any work in the bathroom; DH needs to borrow a trailer from friends of ours to move the fixtures from storage, and they weren't around this weekend.
