Week 2...wooo hooo!

  • Well all, I made it through week one, down 5 lbs and only a minimal amount of cheating ( I did eat some sweet tarts...one of my weaknesses ). I'm very inspired by everyone here. I may not have a lot more to go (or even much to have lost in the beginning), but it's the last 10 that are always the hardest. I started gaining weight when I turned 29 and never working out or eating right caught up with me . This diet seemed easy (especially the taunt of losing noticible weight w/i the first 2 weeks!)....and it is! I find my cravings are reduced (I'm a potatoaholic--fries, baked, hashbrowns, you name it) and I have more energy.
I was barely able to get through my busy day of attending college part time and a full time job w/o feeling exhausted . On my days off I would barely make it through the day w/o needing a nap! The 5 lbs loss in week one has motivated me to keep going (which is a major undertaking since I always fall off the diet wagon by now). With my new found energy , I find I actually WANT to work out! Now there is a first. This diet has definitely inspired me to start taking better care of myself and I wish everyone here the best of luck
  • WTG Smarty!!!!! I can totally relate to alot of what you said! It still surprises me that I actually look forward to working out and my energy level has totally increased!
I have less than 10 pounds left to lose and I've found those the slowest of all to come off as well! Good luck and keep up the great progress!!!
