Quiche Cups

  • I would like to try these, but have one question. I know that it calls for egg substitute in the recipe, but have any of you used just regular eggs? I don't have any of the substitute on hand at the moment... I forgot to buy some!

  • Oh Yeah I've used reg eggs many times making these. I love them! I make canadian bacon, cheese, and mushroom ones for breakfast, and broccoli cheese ones for lunch!
    1/4 c of egg sub=1 egg

    I am going to make some of these tomorrow when I get home from work. They sound like a great "grab and go" breakfast. Mornings are so rough getting my three kids ready and out the door on time for school and myself to work as well.

  • They're great for the quickie breakfast. The only kid I have is a dog, and it's rough enough for me getting out the door, I can't even imagine 3 kids!!!
  • I just made these for the first time this weekend, using real eggs and they were really good. I used the spinach/vegetable recipe.

    One question though, they don't rise and get too fluffy. Are they supposed to be that dense?
