    A TOPS PAL
  • Hi Coco

It's good to hear from you. I have been thinking about you and all the ladies that haven't been posting lately. I haven't been posting myself. It has been a busy 2 months. We had open house in TOPS last month and we always make a big thing out of that, then this weekend we are having a garage sale and next week is awards week. I worked both yesterday and today helping to get the sale ready. Then next month we are hosting the area workshop. TOPS has been really busy and a lot of other things have been going on too.
Coco, I, too, gained about 10 lbs from thanksgiving thru Jan., but I am now back on track and will lose it. I made an agreement with hubby to go on the "South Beach" Diet. We are going to be very strick until he loses about 30 lbs and I lose 15. He has been having so much trouble with his blood pressure. He is on 3 BP meds and now they have added a BP patch. He has to do something.
Also, my older sister had a stroke last week. And I have been very concerned about her. Her hubby has alzhimers and when their daughter called, he told her that he hadn't seen my sister in 2 days, he "looked everwhere for her" and couldn't find her. Well, niece was very upset and called a neighbor who went to check and found her lying on the bedroom floor. We don't know how long she was there, because he has told 3 different things. So they will both be going to a nursing home when she recovers enough from the stroke.
Sorry to go on so long, but that and having company and everything else has keep me away from the computer.
So, get back on your plan and we can start writing again and encouraging each other. We can do this! I know we can.
Eleni, I'll be seeing you in April, walking across stage in the leaders parade.
And congratulations on that new grandson.

Hope everyone else is doing well.

    Nita
