Chicken & Stuffing

  • I saw this recipe at BCB, and am trying it out today. I will let you know how it is!
    6 chicken breasts
1 can reduced fat cream of (mushroom, celery, chicken) soup
    1 box stovetop stuffing
    1/2 c water

Put the chicken in the crockpot. Mix stuffing, water and soup together. Put mixture on top of the chicken. (I also added some frozen veggies, onions and garlic in between the two.) Cook on low for 6 hours.

    Makes six servings.

  • Mmm, that sounds really good!!! I'll keep this recipe for Wednesday night! Thanks!
  • Patience- It was good. I think I would use fresh, chunked, veggies next time. The frozen ones were a little too tender!
  • Sounds good - here's my favorite Chicken Hollandaise

    4-6 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
    1 cup FF chicken broth
1 envelope Hollandaise sauce mix (I use Knorr's)
1 8z pkg FF cream cheese

Mix chicken broth and dry Hollandaise sauce mix and pour over chicken. You can do this on top of the stove or the crockpot. (I use the crock pot). In the crock pot cook on low - 4-6 hours, or until chicken is done. Then mix in the cream cheese (which is at room temperature) until melted.

I don't know the point value, so sometimes I serve it with steamed green beans or noodles.
