Have any of you tried the Morningstar burgers? I have wanted to start eating the veggie burgers because they are lower in fat - but I found the BOCA brand pretty awful and wanted to know about the Morningstar -

Personally I think the best ones on the Bocas but I quit eat them because I want real meat protein.

I LOVE the Morningstar Grillers! Not a huge Boca or Gardenburger fan, but they'll do in a pinch.

I also LOVE the Morningstar Chik patties, Chik nuggets, Buffalo wings, corn dogs, mini corndogs and sausage patties! YUM! I don't eat meat, so they are a good source of soy protein.

A lot of people like the pizza flavored Morningstar burgers, so you might give those a shot too.

My family likes most of the veggie burgers, including my two daughters (4 and 7). I find if I put ketchup on it, they'll eat anything. But they really LOVE the Morningstar mini corn dogs, and I don't feel too guilty about letting them eat them.

Also, it all depends on what flavor you buy of the particular burger. I stay away from any that say "mushroom flavored" because we bought some that were awful. There are some spicy black beans ones out there that are awfully tasty, too.

Hands down, my favorite is the spicy bean burger... and there is enough protein to keep me feeling full. Many of the burgers have far less protein and 30 minutes later I feel empty...
I enjoy the Spicy Bean plain but do use onions, relish, lettuce etc, etc with the boca burgers to give it a lift... just as most folks do w/ meat burgers/ sandwiches.

Love it when the Veggie burgers are on sale!

I second the Boca's as being my favorite (depends on how you cook them). I do mine in the package in the microwave however I quit eating them because I found my 96%lean burgers keep me full longer and more satisified.

I like the morning star Veggie patty, I have not seen the spicy bean ones but will look for them....Not a boca fan.....
