I read the Hypothyroid posts and want to know whether you have to take medication or if the diet changes were enough.
I have been using the GI Plan for 6 months.. I go to the gym and have only lost 15 pounds. I introduced other friends to the plan and they have lost over 30 pounds, average about 10 a month. I was so down. M GP says I am borderline and that there was nothing I could do, he would monitor it in a year's time.
So I did the Search thing and consulted my vitamin books. LO and behold! a B100 regime, 1000mg of Vitamin C, and iodine rich foods and enough zinc should help.
It also explain the depressive behavious I have had lately along with the difficulty with my weight.
Has these things helped anyone else?
