old food diaries

  • I really don't like this new food diary they use now. Does anyone know where I can get the old one on the internet?
  • Try E-bay. I also do not like the new one.
  • Why not create one of your own in Excel or Word?
  • I must be weird. I actually prefer the new ones. I need more room to write- I like one line for each food item and found the old method too narrow. I will ask around at work and see if anyone has one. I could fax you it and you could make copies to use.
  • I don't like the new ones either! I like the old wire-bound Journal that you could put several weeks worth of food in...

So, I made up my own in Quark XPress (using my work graphic design software). It's a 8.5x11 sheet, horizontal layout, folds in half, and is a copy of the old style pretty much, with the date and Points allotment at the top... on the bottom, daily boxes for dairy, fruits/vegs, water, multivitamin, and a space for activity time and intensity. At the end, on the back, is a total Points area for the week, how many Flex Points used, body measurements, and notes space.

I have it saved at work on my Mac, and I just run off more double-sided copies for free when I need more

    Yes, I am a geek
  • You might ask the next time that you go to class if there are any old journals left. Our WW leader told us that there was a surplus of them, so if anyone wanted to use them in place of the new ones, to just ask.
