On an interesting note, some of the enzymes needed to break down fats in the body are not in high enough supply when we burn sugar for a long time. This certainly explains why we feel like crap for a few days and feel like we NEED sugar. Cause we do! We take a while to get up to speed

I just let her ramble. Then I said--well, I'm not having a problem with the way I'm eating or a problem going to the bathroom, so if I can lose weight then I'm pretty happy. If I don't continue then it'll be my fault and I'll go back to gaining weight and being fat and unhappy. That pretty much shut her up.
